This piece was created on a large piece of Basswood with the outer bark still attached. This has two different types of stain: natural and Golden Pecan with a satin clear outdoor spar urethane. The animals chosen are personal for the customer who custom ordered this piece. The negative space around the animals is etched/carved away giving it a more 3-D effect.
